چکیده
Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) are widely used to engineer the surface properties of metals and metal oxide layers. This article reports fabrication gemini perfluorinated phosphonic acids SAMs on indium tin (ITO). The self-assembled be for patterning nickel lines by electroplating ITO in order obtain low-cost conductor grids heterojunction solar cells. aim is develop large-scale, processes that will both reduce production times produce strong, covalently bonded surfaces along with uniform coverage. acid provides extremely high hydrophobicity at a static contact angle water above 115° remarkably low hysteresis approximately 15° between advancing receding angles. Well-known octadecylphosphonic as reference material. Two deposition methods, immersion spray-coating, compared self-assembly molecules. effect solvents during immersion, rinsing steps investigated. characterized atomic force microscopy, measurements, attenuated total reflectance Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy.

Functionalization of indium tin oxide.
The preparation and functionalization of ITO surfaces has been studied using primarily X-ray photoemission spectroscopy and infrared reflection-absorption spectroscopy (IRRAS) and the reagents n-hexylamine and n-octyltrimethoxysilane (OTMS). Particular attention has been paid to characterization of the surfaces both before and after functionalization. Surfaces cleaned by ultraviolet (UV)/ozone ...

This study characterized the electrical and optical properties of single-junction GaAs solar cells coated with antireflective layers of silicon dioxide (SiO₂), indium tin oxide (ITO), and a hybrid layer of SiO₂/ITO applied using Radio frequency (RF) sputtering. The conductivity and transparency of the ITO film were characterized prior to application on GaAs cells. Reverse saturation-current and...
متن کاملEnhanced Physical Properties Of Indium Tin Oxide Films Grown on Zinc Oxide-Coated Substrates
Structural, electrical and optical properties of indium tin oxide or ITO (In2O3:SnO2) thin films on different substrates are investigated. A 100-nm-thick pre-deposited zinc oxide (ZnO) buffer layer is utilized to simultaneously improve the electrical and optical properties of ITO films. High purity ZnO and ITO layers are deposited with a radio frequency sputtering in argon ambient with plasma p...
متن کاملIndium Tin Oxide@Carbon Core–Shell Nanowire and Jagged Indium Tin Oxide Nanowire
This paper reports two new indium tin oxide (ITO)-based nanostructures, namely ITO@carbon core-shell nanowire and jagged ITO nanowire. The ITO@carbon core-shell nanowires (~50 nm in diameter, 1-5 μm in length,) were prepared by a chemical vapor deposition process from commercial ITO nanoparticles. A carbon overlayer (~5-10 in thickness) was observed around ITO nanowire core, which was in situ f...
متن کاملOn the initial growth of indium tin oxide on glass
The initial growth mode of indium tin oxide on glass was studied. An interesting transition from a 3D island growth mode at low temperatures to 2D growth at higher temperature was observed. This transition from the Volmer-Weber mechanism to the Frank–van der Merwe mechanism occurs at about 150°C. It coincides with the transition from amorphous to polycrystalline growth of the thin films. © 1996...
